October 2014 Product Round-up

October 2014 Product Roundup

It’s that time of the month again. Before I forget, here’s my most loved products for the month of October.

Givenchy Le Rouge Rose Plumetis. I already reviewed one of the two lipsticks Givenchy released for Fall but I actually bought the two shades available in Sephora. Of the two, I feel this one is more work appropriate so I’ve been wearing it on most days. I haven’t written about this one yet but I will. I promise.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I believe I described this as “… magic in a bottle” when I reviewed it here. I’m hoping this will last me for a long time given that I only have a sample of it.

Purely Cosmetics Diamond Perfect Finish. Considering my preference for compact powders over loose ones, the fact that I bring this with me everywhere speaks volumes. I reviewed 3 Purely Cosmetics loose powders I bought from Digital Traincase last week. By now, Robyn must be so sick and tired of me. She must be thinking, “Oh it’s that girl again.” I can’t help it.

Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm. When I finished my last tube of lip balm, I turned to my unopened pack of Burt’s Bees I bought a while ago at Duty Free. I find it more moisturizing than the Maybelline Baby Lips which I’m thankful for during this colder months.

Sonia Kashuk Angled Brow Liner Brush. I never thought I would fall in love with this brush from the 15th Anniversary Brush Set. Together with the Spoolie Brush, it’s loads easier to create defined, natural-looking brows. It’s the ultimate partner to my Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade at the moment. Until I find a better one, I suppose.

Blushes on rotation:

A mauve, warm pink and coral are the shades of blushes I was using last month.  I picked Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Dazzled, Catrice Defining Blush in Think Pink and Clinique Cheek Pop in Peach Pop. They all have one thing in common, which is, they all last for quite a while. I’m perfectly content not to reapply frequently.

There, all done. Now it’s your turn. What products were your top choices last month? Do tell.
