The best thing is to look natural, but it takes makeup to look natural.

A few weeks ago, I was browsing for new products when I came across Glossier. They’ve got this philosophy about taking care of the skin first so one can use makeup that will enhance beauty. They also create their beauty products based on the feedback they receive. Their philosophy inspired me to do come up with some beauty items I use to create an everyday, natural look. Since I always do beauty review, I thought it’d be a nice change to share this. As I got to brainstorm ideas, I actually had trouble coming up with products to be included until I finalized it to a few. Continue reading
The past year has been amazing. I met people online and offline who are just as addicted to makeup as I am. I, the girl behind her glasses, am extremely thankful to everyone who has taken their time to visit my little corner on the web, liked my posts and commented.
Now, what beauty blog would this be if I don’t list down the most amazing finds I have discovered in 2014? So sit back, relax, grab a cup of tea or hot cocoa, perhaps some biscuits too if you want. Here they are, the best of the best products, in my opinion at least. 😉
When long hours at work are inevitable and I have to plunge my head on multiple tasks/errands and deadlines, I only trust the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer (review) to make my makeup last until late into the night. Or when, you know, there’s no time to reapply my makeup for after-work dinner and drinks. In second place is the Purely Cosmetics Oil Absorb Powder (review). It’s that time of the month again. Before I forget, here’s my most loved products for the month of October.
Givenchy Le Rouge Rose Plumetis. I already reviewed one of the two lipsticks Givenchy released for Fall but I actually bought the two shades available in Sephora. Of the two, I feel this one is more work appropriate so I’ve been wearing it on most days. I haven’t written about this one yet but I will. I promise.
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I believe I described this as “… magic in a bottle” when I reviewed it here. I’m hoping this will last me for a long time given that I only have a sample of it.
Who knew that using diamonds as makeup can make you look so fab?
Here is the last Purely Cosmetics loose powder I bought from Digital Traincase, the Diamond Perfect Finish . I apologize if I take a long time to review products but I have a good reason. I am nothing but thorough in my reviews.
Let’s get to the good stuff then. 😉 Continue reading
I only have one setting powder I use on rotation and that’s the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. But I’m close to finishing it up and I need a replacement soon.
Here’s the next Purely Cosmetics loose powder I promised to review, the Pure Silk Setting Powder. Continue reading
