Confession time. I had never really invested in an eyeshadow primer (Gasp!) because most of the eyeshadows I’ve been using are quite long-wearing. Viseart, Lorac, Urban Decay, just to name a few.
Whuttt?! A beauty blogger who doesn’t routinely use a primer?! Yeah, that happens.
But when Canmake was finally available over at the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati, one of the things I bought to try out was their eyebase. Today’s review will be all about that. Continue reading
Today’s Swatch Day Sunday is an eyeshadow palette from Sonia Kashuk.
I was originally going to put this up for review but instead, I’ll just post swatches here and let you decide for yourselves. Continue reading
It’s that time of the month again. Before I forget, here’s my most loved products for the month of October.
Givenchy Le Rouge Rose Plumetis. I already reviewed one of the two lipsticks Givenchy released for Fall but I actually bought the two shades available in Sephora. Of the two, I feel this one is more work appropriate so I’ve been wearing it on most days. I haven’t written about this one yet but I will. I promise.
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I believe I described this as “… magic in a bottle” when I reviewed it here. I’m hoping this will last me for a long time given that I only have a sample of it.
Confession: I bought this Sonia Kashuk Blush/Bronzer Duo to avail of the free shipping at Target when I ordered their 15th Anniversary Brush Set.
Can you blame me? The lure of an extremely beautiful packaging and the detail on the pan can be hard to resist. More so when you get two products for less than the price of most high-end brands.
Also, it’s been sitting on my ‘to-buy’ list for far too long. The procrastinator in me finally gave the green light. Continue reading
The Sonia Kashuk 15-piece Professional Brush Set. Sigh. I can look at you and your purple handles, purple fibers and gold ferrules all day.
I had this set for more than 2 weeks now but I can’t fully make up my mind about them. Writing my thoughts down was harder than the time I had to review the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Foundation Primer.
But here we go. Just a few thoughts. I might or might not do a more detailed review later. I can’t promise though. Since it’s a limited edition, the chances are highly unlikely. Continue reading
