Sometimes when I get home and feel so tired but I still have to take off my makeup, I resort to just using either a micellar water or a cleansing cloth. I prefer using wipes instead because they clean my face faster. Well I recently bought more from Cetaphil and I believe it’s high time I give them a review.
GENTLE CLEANSING CLOTHS FROM CETAPHIL
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths will leave skin feeling fresh and clean – without drying out or disturbing skin’s natural pH balance.
• Convenient, pre-moistened – perfect for when you’re on the go
• Ultra soft and gentle
• Thoroughly removes makeup and dirt, leaving skin clean, refreshed and balanced
• Mild, soap-free formula cleanses without irritation – it won’t strip skin of its natural protective oils or emollients
• Moisturizes without leaving residue that can clog pores
• Fragrance-free and ophthalmologist tested
The Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths have 25 moist sheets packed in a blue plastic and are pulled out thru a white lid. Before I start going into details (not that there’s a lot I will discuss), I just want to put it out there that of all the cleansing wipes I have used, this is my favorite. It has become my HOLY GRAIL. I love it so much that I am always recommending it to my co-workers and I am always buying it in bulk.
Okay, in general, cleansing cloths leave my skin feeling clean and fresh after every use. But the difference of these wipes from the rest is they don’t leave any tacky or sticky feeling. In fact, my skin looks pretty matte. For an oily-skinned individual like me, it’s a fantastic feeling. And I love how even waterproof and smudge-proof eye makeup does not stand a chance. The sheets are not heavily fragranced with floral or chemical scents and they do not make my eyes sting.
I always bring a pack with me when I travel because I find it so convenient that only one cloth is enough to wipe off all my makeup as opposed to numerous cotton pads when using micellar water. Especially whenever I wear full and heavy makeup — with waterproof eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadows, the whole makeup nine yards, these remove them faster. I don’t use it alone though. My double cleansing routine now becomes “triple” — cleansing cloth, cleansing oil, facial wash.
A pack of the is priced at Php 248 each and is available in leading supermarkets (at least I hope they are). I always see them in Rustan’s Supermarkets. How about you? Do any of you guys have a favorite cleansing cloth brand?

I always just go off wipes because of the whole theory “they just drag the makeup across your face” but these sound great! Great post, it’d mean a lot if you checked my blog out back! Xx
