In Her Element Rosewater Hydrating Moisture Mist | Review

For as long as I can remember, I find the rose scent too strong for senses. At times it can give me a headache but so I tend to avoid them at all cost — the flowers, in perfumes and more recently in skincare. I thought I’ve sworn off of them until I got to try some of the products of local brand, In Her Element. Continue reading

A Pixi Beauty Glow Story

Hello everyone! Hands up for anyone who wants to glow.

I received this beautiful PR package yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised to see it waiting for me when I got home. Life has me more busy than usual — I have a few things coming up — but I wanted to post this package from Pixi Beauty on the blog as soon as it was delivered. Continue reading

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream | Review

Drunk Elephant is a skincare brand I consider luxury. They have a lot of products on my wishlist that I hope I can fulfill one day. 2018 Misses, Pans & Empties

Just like last year, I decided to put together all items I’ve hit pan on, emptied and the ones that didn’t work for me. Let’s get into those shall we?

MISSES:

With a low-buy year, I thought I wouldn’t have products I’d be disappointed in but then I take a look at the photo above and realize 3 out of the 5 items were PR products. I’ve only reviewed 2 — the Maybelline Superstay Full Coverage Foundation and the Eyenlip Pure White Tone-Up Cream. You can click on the links to know why they didn’t work for me. All the lip products included in the photo were only used once: Jane Iredale Triple Luxe Long Lasting Naturally Moist Lipstick in Joanna, Lip Pencil in Nude, and Blk Cosmetics Long-Lasting Liquid Matte Lipstick. I was so disappointed in them that I think they’re not worth a second chance. If you want me to post a review, let me know in the comments. Continue reading
