Before I get started on my beauty resolutions for this year, I wanted to review the ones I made last year. I made a total of 7 resolutions but only ended up accomplishing 4 of them. I managed to to fulfill my low buy plan to a degree. Makeup was an easy category to deal with as I was able to cut off brands and items I had planned on getting at the start and replaced them with cheaper items. Skincare, on the other hand, became a major interest/issue because I did promise to step up with my routines. But I also stayed true to my one-empty-one-newbie policy although I had about 2 to 3 items opened up at a time because I had products sent that were needed to be reviewed. I also increased my water intake (yay!). I’m still not able to drink 2L a day but it’s more than 1.5L at least.

Ever since I picked up this highlighter from Maybelline, I haven’t been able to put it down. Anyway, I’m sure all of you are very familiar with this one already. Everyone has been practically raving about it. I for one, am glad that we have this here in the Philppines. I thought it would take years before that would happen. I mean, look at the Fit Me line. And I have been well aware of these lipsticks even before the repackaging. At that time, I was hesitant to purchase them because some local beauty bloggers would say that these have a matte and dry formula.
Fast forward to the present. I couldn’t help myself. Despite the beautiful shades, I only picked two to try out, Norma and Tucana. Continue reading
Before I start, let me first clarify the air. I did not spent a single centavo on this order. Instead, I used the reward points I was given when I became a member of the Althea Angels Community. As members, we were welcomed with a very generous online credit of $30 worth of points. However the points will expire after 30 days from when they were first credited to our Althea accounts, which in my case was yesterday. Well, waste not, want not, right? Continue reading
