Hey all! This will be another post dedicated to one of the limited edition highlighters that was released for Spring 2016. I am a firm believer of the saying, “Save the best for last.” And this is one of the best limited edition highlighters for the first quarter of the year.

LIGHT ON THE RUNWAYS
- Discover the limited edition Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Palette. A lightweight illuminating face powder set with an intricate lace-pattern design, inspired by the delicate fabrics from the womenswear show.
- Capturing the essence of a Burberry glow, the buildable luminous White shade fuses flattering, subtle highlighting with runway-inspired yet effortless strobing techniques. Complexions are illuminated and features defined by sweeping the pearly, translucent powder across areas of the face, where light would naturally hit.
- Application tip: Apply the illuminating powder around the edge of the face to lift and brighten the complexion.
- Lace inspired pattern
- Strobing and highlighting
- Buildable
The Review:
The Burberry 2016 Runway Palette in White No.1 is a frosted white. And it is damn beautiful. Starting from the plastic sleeve that has a lace pattern outside to the inside. This is one of those limited edition highlighters that I know I shouldn’t dare use continuously because doing so would ruin the lace pattern embossed on the pan.
It’s such a tragedy to even think about it.
But I can’t help it though! The powder is so smooth, soft and finely-milled. It blends so well onto the skin and it doesn’t look too shimmery at all. There are no huge chunks of glitter which I’m thankful for. I thought it would but on the contrary, the powder itself leaves a soft luminous finish on the skin. The pigmentation is also as good as it looks on the swatch. But if you need a little more intense strobe to your cheeks, then you can build it up with more layers. Lastly, it stays as long as 7 hours on me just so you know.
Burberry came up with two shades, the other one is Nude Gold, which is a light gold. I’m a bit partial towards white highlighters so I chose the white version but seeing the swatch of the other makes me want to get it too. Especially if it performs as good as this one. By the way, I’m giving this Burberry highlighter a TWO THUMBS UP!
Were you able to get this lovely highlighter as well? Or maybe you have the Nude Gold? Tell me what you think of them.

I’m hesitant to use it. I wish Burberry will release the same highlighter but without the pretty design just so I can put it on. haha 😀
