Makeup junkies like me surely knew about the Great Maybelline/Loreal/Revlon sale that happened last month right? Also, SM had its weekend sale so while in the area, I excused myself from my family to go to the beauty section of the department store. My sister was in awe actually. She couldn’t believe I would skip out on an H&M sale in favor of discounted beauty products.
I couldn’t believe it either. Whoa, did I really do that??
But back to the topic, here are the things I bought:
The past year has been amazing. I met people online and offline who are just as addicted to makeup as I am. I, the girl behind her glasses, am extremely thankful to everyone who has taken their time to visit my little corner on the web, liked my posts and commented.
Now, what beauty blog would this be if I don’t list down the most amazing finds I have discovered in 2014? So sit back, relax, grab a cup of tea or hot cocoa, perhaps some biscuits too if you want. Here they are, the best of the best products, in my opinion at least. 😉

Yes, you read that right.
I fell in love the moment I took out the three Zoeva brushes I bought from Luxola out of their zippered pouches and felt their soft bristles for the first time. I imagined I was feeling up a couple of rabbit tails.
Here now is my review of those 3 brushes and a bit of a comparison with some of my Sigma brushes. Continue reading
Luxola recently had a 40% off sale on everything. Yes, you saw that right, on everything. At that time, there were only 2 brands I was interested in, Rouge Bunny Rouge and Zoeva.
Sadly, everything from RBR almost immediately sold out. It was unbelievable. The ones I wanted weren’t available. (Damn those sneaky makeup ninjas out there!)
With a heavy heart, I began to browse Zoeva. Naturally, the brush sets were all gone too. (I’ve resigned myself to the possibility that I may not be able to purchase the Luxe Complete Set on a sale.) What’s left are the individual brushes and here are the ones I snagged. Continue reading
