Today will be another short entry on the blog because it’s an empties post. I don’t have a lot to show but nonetheless, I’m proud of myself for these.
I’ve finished up another bottle of one of my Deciem’s The Ordinary serums. This time it’s the Advanced Retinoid 2% but I have a backup of this that I bought late last year. I’ve already gone ahead and opened that one after this. Currently I’m looking for a substitute for this serum so if you guys have an idea of what I could replace it with, that would be most awesome. I used to have this preconceived notion that hydrating serums tend to have a viscous formula that leave a sticky, and tacky finish on the skin, so oily skin don’t need them. But now I’m aware that even oily skins types, which I am, can be prone to dehydration. Yikes. I’m just glad Benton made this lovely serum. Continue reading
A few times a month, I’d usually add a vitamin C serum to my routine just to brighten up my skin or lighten up any dark marks left behind by any breakout. After my Cosrx Triple C Lightning Liquid has fully oxidized the point of being anything but effective, I turned to Tiam’s newly packaged serum to hopefully give me the same kind of brightening effect.
