I once had a Laura Mercier primer back in 2014 that left me hanging. It was oil free and ideally for someone with an oily skin type but it wasn’t consistently doing good for me. Eventually I just gave up on it when I was halfway through the tube. I got an opportunity to try another one of their primers when I received a sample from one of my purchases a while ago. So yesterday, I showed you all my makeup picks of the year. Today, I’ll be sharing more products with you, some didn’t leave a good impression while others are good enough I had finished it off. In summary, these are my misses, pans and empties for 2017.
I don’t use a primer everyday. I’d love to though because my oily skin and pores need a lot of help. But I also have to deal with having a sensitive skin and majority of oil-controlling and pore-filling primers out there disagree with my skin type. But when I do use a primer, I prefer to use ones that cater to all skin types like this one from Pixi. Continue reading
