Among MAC’s blushes, the Extra Dimension ones has always been my absolute favorite. They used to be only limited edition items in selected collections and I have always wished before that MAC will make them permanent eventually. And they did make them permanent. Last summer, MAC finally released a whole new variety of Extra Dimension blushes as a part of their permanent range. I’m slowly rediscovering them with the shade Hushed Tone. Continue reading
The first quarter of 2018 has come and gone in a hurry. Looking back at all my purchases of the year since I decided to be on a “low-buy”, I’m quite pleased with how it turned out so far. Also I did not expect not getting a couple of items from my “allowed-to-buy” list (like ColourPop, Becca and Happy Skin). Anyway, I’ve got the rest of the year for those items but for now, I’ll be showing you what I bought from January until March. Continue reading
To us Filipino makeup addicts, Patrick Starrr is, well a really, really bright star. And an idol. His status as a beauty influencer makes us proud. His collaboration with MAC affirms that status. My friend once said that the best compact powder she has ever had was the Lightful Powder Foundation. Even if one compact costs a lot, I remember her telling me she’d buy it again. Fast forward 5 years later and I’ve become a beauty addict, blogging in my free time. Now cushion foundations have become major trend and MAC has joined in the fray in the form of the Lightful C Cushion Foundation.
I bought it last year when they had a promo in stores. For every cushion compact and refill bought, the total was less than Php 3,000. I thought it was quite a deal. Continue reading
I wasn’t supposed to get a red lipstick from MAC. I had a low-buy plan at the start of the year and I had only allowed myself to get from MAC a lipstick I can wear everyday (and a highlighter). But then they announced their collaboration with Sia for a Viva Glam lipstick and the plan just went out the window.
You see, I love Sia. I still think her albums, Colour the Small One (2004) and We Are Born (2010) are her best ones. Anyway this lipstick is for a good cause so why not?
