Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel UV SPF50+ PA++++ | Review

Hello, hello! Today I’ll be finally talking about my favorite sunscreen of all time. I don’t know why I haven’t written about it as soon as I decided it’s the best I’ve come across. I’ve recommended it to a lot of my friends and to anyone who’s asking what I use. And every new sunscreen I test, I always compare it to this and most of the time, they pale in comparison. Emergency Beauty Haul: The Balm, K-Palette, Canmake, Wet N Wild and Cala

Emergency beauty haul May 2017

Hi guys! Have you ever thought about what you’d do if ever one day, you lose your makeup kit? Yes, it’s such a horrifying thing to imagine but I never thought it would happen to me until last week when I realized I had unknowingly left my pouch back at home. In a different city. (FYI, to make things clear, stay in Makati during weekdays and come home to Muntinlupa every weekend.)

2016 In Review: Hits, Misses, Empties and Pans

HIts of 2016

Just a few more days to go before 2016 comes to a close, can you believe it? Anyway, I usually do the year-end product round up every January of the following year but this time though, I thought I’d do it earlier.

HITS

My Best Products of 2015

Best of 2015

My top 10 for 2015!

I didn’t manage to try a lot of products last year but I did get to experience a few amazing items so here now are the best products I have in my stash.

1. Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop. This has been a serious game-changer for me the past year. Trust Jaclyn Hill to convert me into a highlighter addict. I’ve pretty much stayed away from them when I was beginning to get into makeup. For so long, I’ve believed that my oily skin would only look worse when I wear anything shimmery or frosty. I watched one of her videos before with this product where she demonstrated on the points of her face where she usually puts her highlighter on. I tried it myself and BAM! I was highlighter-hooked. It felt like a revelation. You can read my review here.

2. Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara. I finally found a mascara that can give my all-too-short-and-straight lashes the volume and length they desperately need. Anyone who has the same problems as I have should give this a go. Review here. Continue reading

Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder | Review

Canmake Marshmallow Finish Powder2

Remember when I asked for recommendations about what powder you guys used? Some of the answers I got like Rimmel and Hourglass I have already tried. There were other recommendations as well but high up on my list was Canmake’s Marshmallow Finish Powder. I just had to get one when I came across the brand in Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Makati. Continue reading
