More often than not, I will usually find something disappointing about them — doesn’t adhere to skin well, no effect on undereye area, etc. That doesn’t mean I’m not willing to try out others. Time for my annual beauty favorites guys and 2018 certainly was a year full of new discoveries, many of which are from the skincare category. But believe me, I still have some makeup items I fell in love with.

The new centella gel from Benton Cosmetics could not have come at a better time last month. Just as my hormonal acne was starting to make its presence known on my chin and forehead, this gel arrived on our doorstep. This year has made me suddenly more interested in face mists. They are soothing and refreshing on the skin especially during a long, tiring and humid day. I never thought I would like them as much as I should but when I found out how dehydrated my skin was, I figured a good mist would come in handy. Now today’s post is all about Benton’s Tea Tree Mist.
I used to have this preconceived notion that hydrating serums tend to have a viscous formula that leave a sticky, and tacky finish on the skin, so oily skin don’t need them. But now I’m aware that even oily skins types, which I am, can be prone to dehydration. Yikes. I’m just glad Benton made this lovely serum. Continue reading
