Have you ever experienced buying a set of beauty products because you only like a couple of items in it? And the others are just bonuses you believe you’ll eventually use someday? But then you forget all about them. They’re just sitting there in one of your drawers unopened until months later you find them again when you’re trying to find something you’ve misplaced.
Well, that’s what this post is all about. Every once in a while I will rearrange the products on my acrylic drawers (to make more room for more products obviously). Well I came across several gems I haven’t used yet. Samples, minis, and even full-sized products that accumulated over time.
I tell you, it was like discovering a hidden treasure chest full of goodies. I get to rediscover them one by one. Let me start with the only bareMinerals blush I have. Continue reading
GAME CHANGER (n.):
an event, idea, or procedure that effects a significant shift in the current manner of doing or thinking about something.
I suddenly had an idea to start a series showing the various products that has altered my views and preferences regarding beauty products one way or another. It may be something I fell in love at one point, gradually, or not at all, but the concept and the idea behind it has certainly revolutionized my way of applying makeup or creating a particular look instead.
Let’s start with the PRIMER that changed it all.

March certainly flew by so fast. I was just rounding up products for the month of February and now I’m doing one for March.
Well, then, here we go.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar H. I’m surprised this lasted me almost a year and well enough through out the colder months of December and January. Gave me the extra hydration I needed during those months.
Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore-Perfecting Toner (travel size). I love this! This has now become a staple in my skincare routine. My review can be found here.
bareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara mini. I’m going to have bid farewell to this little guy here. It has dried up already.
Hourglass Foundation Formula Sample (Light Series). I was so excited to try out Hourglass’ Foundations for free. Instead of buying the full-sized bottles, I get to test the goodness of their products one at a time without paying for the exorbitant price. The only downside is the shade I was given. The lightest shade included is Ivory which is a tad darker for me but no worries, my experience was all good. Each sample packet lasted me for about a week.
