Let Me Skin Ultra H2O Modeling Mask (Blue)| Review

I’ve got another product sent via Charis. This time it’s a modeling mask. This is my first time to use a product like this so I was a little excited. I’m used to sheet masks and sleeping masks. I had a peel-off mask before that I gave to my sister without trying it out first. Anyway, let’s move on to that review.

Let Me Skin Ultra H2O Modeling Mask

Gel type essence provides moisture that never dries up and lasts longer and hyaluronic acid quenches skin dryness, and active components like caviar extract and green tea extract help enhance skin elasticity.

The Ultra H20 Modeling Mask has 4 variants, each encased in a different colored pill-shaped case with their respective purpose: Pink/Purple to brightening, Yellow/Green to soothing, Blue to hydrate and Gold for a total care. There are four packets inside, 2 each with a number 1 and 2. The first packet contains the gel substance and the second packet contains the milky essence. One pill case is equivalent to two uses.

The gel and the essence are mixed together and the resulting jelly mixture is then applied to the whole face with the spatula. The gel can also be applied elsewhere aside from the face because when I finished putting it on, there was some more left in the container. I was so careful throughout the whole time I was applying it on because it felt like the gel was going to drip everywhere. To my surprise though, no dripping happened. As soon as I applied the gel on the face, it stayed there.

The gel mask felt so cool to the skin even if I hadn’t intentionally cooled it. It’s supposed to stay on the face for 20 to 30 minutes but to be honest, I think it can still be left on the face for longer than that. When I peeled it off after 30 minutes — what a satisfying feeling that was! — the gel mask was still very much moist. After taking it off, my skin felt so hydrated, soft and supple with a dewy and healthy glow to it. There was also some tackiness left by the gel mask.

Pardon the change in lighting. The sun was playing peek-a-boo while I was taking photos.

After you’re done with the masks, you can use the pill case for whatever purpose you want. Me, I use it now as a container for my eye brushes. I’ve been meaning to separate them from my face brushes. I’ll probably use it on my travels too.

I really like how this modeling mask boosts the hydration of my skin but the application? Not so much. I have nothing against the gel texture of the mask but I was more concerned with the way it was applied. I wish it came with a mini brush too so the gel can be applied evenly on the face.

If you  have a dry or dehydrated skin, then this mask is for you. It’ll be an experience I think you’ll enjoy especially when you peel it all off. This is available in my Charis Store if you want.
