I have another centella product for you guys today and it’s also from Purito. I’ve been kind of obsessed with centella asiatica lately ever since I experienced how it can be so good for the skin. From acne, to skin irritation and up to wrinkles, it seems like this plant is the answer to all our skincare issues. But for now, it’s time to head off to my review with Purito’s new eye cream.
GREEN AROUND THE EYES
The Centella Green Level Eye Cream comes in a plastic tube containing 30 ml of product. It has a similar smell as the Centella Green Level Buffet Serum but not as strong. I don’t really detect the scent whenever I am patting it on but I got curious one time and just took a huge sniff of the cream.
To be honest, I haven’t seen any significant changes in the skin around my eyes since I started on this eye cream. But with this on, my under eye area looks pretty hydrated to me. Unlike the serum, it remains to be slightly tacky even after waiting for a couple of minutes. I was actually worried at first because I thought it would become a problem once I’ve put on my concealer on the area. My worry of having my concealer pill up or get streaky during the day was proven unnecessary because it never happened. To my immense relief, the eye cream plays so well under my concealer and foundation. I used it with all my current concealers and they all have the same result. No pillage. Whew.
I’m a firm believer that when it comes to eye creams, their effects are mostly for anti-aging and wrinkle prevention when used in the long run. Even if there are no apparent and visible effects within weeks of use, who’s to say it’s not working? Some fine wrinkling is still there yes but that’s it; I haven’t observed any emphasis of my wrinkles or getting new ones. I still have months to go before I finish up this tube anyway.
The ingredients list will show you that it also has 49% centella asiatica and a combination of 4 kinds of peptides along with ceramide, collagen and sodium hyaluronate — the same stars from the Buffet Serum.
All of that said, I’ve never really encountered an eye cream I didn’t like and I do like this for the way it behaves under my makeup. I also enjoy the subtle herbal scent it comes with because I’m not a fan of strong scents right now — I find myself getting nauseated with really strong and pungent smells.
Anyway, this is my opinion of the Centella Green Level Eye Cream and I hope this may help you sometime. Have you ever tried any eye creams with centella asiatica?
