Skincare Items on My Wishlist

Skincare 2018 Wishlist

This skincare wishlist of mine for this year just started out with a couple of items from a few brands. That was back in late January. I figured since I was willing to go “low-buy” I might as well include skincare items. But the problem is everyday since January, I’m always seeing new releases and new products I really want to try. So here I am with a ton of items that I may or may not get.

I discovered Timeless Skincare last year when I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic serum which costs a whopping $165. The one from Skinceuticals has 15% while Timeless has 20%. and only costs $24.95. Aside from this, they also have other anti-aging serums if you’re looking for something else.

Lixir is a UK brand that I spotted from Instagram. Their Night Switch Retinol 1% might just be the alternate I’m looking for to replace The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid I’m hurrying to finish up.

If you must know, I have a thing for fermented essences and Neogen Dermalogy Real Ferment Micro Essence is one of those but I still have a lot of essences in my stash so I have no idea when I’ll be able to get this.

Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Liquid has been on this list since January because I’m more aware of providing protection for my skin barrier. There are a lot of ceramide based products out there but Dr. Jart+ is the brand I wanted to start with.

Another product with ceramides is the Stratia Liquid Gold but I’d still rather try out the Dr. Jart+ first before this. I would also like to get my hands on the Rewind DMAE Essence. Actually, there are some more I’d like from Stratia but I’m trying to rein in the urge.

Summer Fridays. Sigh, I love the sound of that. The name itself is relaxing and their Jet Lag Mask is certainly garnering a lot of hype after its release. This is the only mask I’ve put down on this list so you can bet I will be getting this, hopefully soon. I’m just timing it on a sale.

The Glow Maker from Maelove is another serum with Vitamin C, E and Ferulic acid that I just came across this month. It’s constantly out of stock on their website so I’ll just be on the lookout for this but hopefully in the future, I can try this out.

The Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream will probably be the most likely product from this list that I will buy. There’s just something about the brand that earned my trust immediately. Also from DE is the Shaba Complex Eye Serum but I don’t see myself getting this immediately.

I keep on seeing Indie Lee around Instagram since last year and I know there are some cult favorites from this brand. For my part, I would really, really love to add both the Brightening Cleanser and CoQ-10 Toner to my skincare routine.

When it comes to cute packaging, Holy Snails wins the contest hands down. I’m really keen on their Shark Sauce because of their Niacinamide content.

Youth to the People grabbed my attention with their minimalist packaging and I am very interested to get a hold of their items especially the cleanser and the eye cream.

Jordan Samuel Skin has so many products I want to try. But I think I should start from The After Show Treatment Cleanser for no other reason than it can break down makeup, sunblock, and dirt.

Originally, the Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser and Kale-Lalu-yAHA from Krave Beauty and Protini Polypeptide Cream from Drunk Elephant was included here but I’ve already acquired them last month. Those are still unopened, by the way.

So that’s it for now. Are there any items from this list that you’ve tried? How was it for you? Tell me all about it down below!

XOXO
