Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask

Another sleeping pack I’ve been loving is this one from Klairs. I bought it to compliment the vitamin C serum I’m using because I have come across several articles now saying that vitamin E boosts the benefits of vitamin c. Aside from that, it provides hydration and photo-protective effects on the skin. So I’d think investing in a good vitamin E product  will help me in the long run.

Start With Brighter Skin the Next Day

A multifunctional product that can be used as a mask, sleeping pack or daily moisturizer. Fortified with the antioxidant power of vitamin E to brighten, improve wrinkles, and prevent signs of aging.

Use it during the day to protect the skin from UV damages and use it at night for wrinkle improvement and skin regeneration.

A Unique Texture

With a pudding-like texture, the cream transform into a rich essence that helps the product tightly adhere onto the skin, which maintains and lock-in the moisture for at least 8 hours. This memory foam consistency will give an overnight miracle of brighter, firmer, and more hydrated skin.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask2

The Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask from Klairs comes in a clear and thick plastic jar containing of 90 ml/ 3.04 oz of product. It has a moderate citrus scent but unlike the Klairs toner, I don’t find it as strong. In fact, I like it very much. The first word that came to mind when I opened the jar and felt its texture was goopy. It’s gel-like with a very viscous formula. One fun thing I discovered about this is that it would always go back to looking seemingly undisturbed even if I had scooped out a portion of it a day before.

I had my doubts when I felt its thick consistency and I wondered if it’ll get absorbed by my oily skin. On my first time, I only applied a small amount on a portion of my cheek to see how it will do and lo and behold, seconds later, the cream was absorbed after carefully massaging it and left my skin with a slight tacky feeling.

It made my skin so supple and bouncy the following morning, and of course, soft, yeah but the suppleness! It’s the first time I had ever thought of my skin like that, and only with this sleeping mask. I seriously couldn’t stop touching my face the first time I felt what it did. And even up until the present, I catch myself feeling my face because I’m still amazed at what it does.

I’m pretty sure this product saved my skin from drying and flaking out too much due to the harsh winter weather in Seoul last December. I’d apply this liberally on my face and neck at night and wake up with the softest skin. When I experienced some painful dry patches around my nose, I’d put some of it in the morning and the area would immediately calm down and become hydrated.

Star ingredients for me aside from Vitamin E, Niacinamide and Adenosine are Sodium hyaluronate, Ceramide NP, and Centella asiatica extract. These last 3 are pretty much what I keep seeing in skincare products — not necessarily together all the time — that are being raved right now.

I would definitely repurchase this over and over again. I am willing to try any other sleeping masks like it but at the moment, this is my absolute favorite because really, this is one hell of a product. One that I can say is HOLY GRAIL material!

How about you guys, what’s your favorite sleeping mask? Let me know in the comments below so I have an idea on what to try next!
