New Highlighters on My Wishlist

February 2018 Highlighter Wishlist

Hey everyone! How has your week been?

Today, I have another wishlist up my sleeve and these are all the new and upcoming highlighters from the beauty community that I’m very interested in. I might get them all but it doesn’t mean, I can’t do a show-and-tell thru my blog post.

Let’s begin, shall we?

Dior highlighters have the most gorgeous pans, I swear! That’s why I stay away from them as much as possible because I can never bring myself to ruin such a beautiful pattern. The ones I have in my stash have only been used a few times and never again after. But that doesn’t stop me from putting them on my wishlists though, LOL. Enter the Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Glow Addict Holographic Sculpting Powder.

The new Amrezy Highlighter from Anastasia Beverly Hills to be launched on Valentine’s Day online and in Sephora next month is getting quite a lot of buzz. The swatch from @trendmood1 is killing me because I think it looks more beautiful as compared to So Hollywood. And we all know when it comes to highlighters, Anastasia Beverly Hills is sure to give you a blinding glow.

Cause we need it…Comparison side by side: @anastasiabeverlyhills X @amrezy ✨💫⭐️ #Highlighter Vs #SoHollywood . They both have that amazing baked formula for that extra glow in one swipe! So Hollywood is a little bit deeper, warmer and more gold They both looks beautiful on different skin tones and the formula is buildable if u just want to feel like a glowing Goddess 😉✨ . #ABHXAmrezy Highlighter $28 Will be available ➡️ #valentinesday FEBRUARY 14TH on their website / MARCH in other stores . Is it on your list??? 🙋🏼‍♀️✨ #TRENDMOOD #anastasiabeverlyhills . #makeupoftheday #motd #makeupoftheday #mua #ilovemakeup #makeup #makeupaddict #makeuplover #makeupblogger #makeuponpoint #onpoint #makeuplook #makeuplove #makeuptalk

Also for Valentine’s Day, Ofra Cosmetics has released a new collection, Me, Myself & I that includes a new highlighter, Pillow Talk. There’s also a trio highlighting palette with the new shade which has Rodeo Drive and Blissful. I could do without the palette because I already have Rodeo Drive (just unopened!) and I’ve swatched Blissful before on my arm but found it too dark for me.

Speaking of highlighter palettes, MAC Cosmetics is releasing 2 just after V-day! The Hyper Real Glow Palettes will contain 3 highlighters each, one in gold tones and the other in rose gold. I wonder when they’ll get here in the Philippines?

A limited edition highlighting powder from Bobbi Brown, Opal Glow has caught my eye weeks ago. My biggest frustration when it comes to the brand has been how I can never catch these limited edition highlighters in any counter here in the Philippines. I always see the Shimmer Bricks and the Brightening Bricks on display but never these Highlighting Powders. Like for example, the Highlighting Trio Palette (has Nectar Glow, Pink Gold Glow & Golden Bronze Glow) — I was waiting for it to arrive here so I could swatch it but I never really saw it. So weird.

The Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick was one of those items that I felt like I wouldn’t be into. Yes, it’s a highlighter but it’s also in a cream stick form so I wasn’t too sure of it. But, ever since I watched Tati apply it in her $3,000 Makeup Tutorial video, I was immediately sold. It looked so good on her and she applied it easily that it just jumped in my wishlist overnight.

Coming from Becca Cosmetics is a collaboration from Parisian beauty Sananas. Their new Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed is called Parisian Lights embossed with the Eiffel Tower across the pan. It’s already available in Sephora France and will soon be sold in the US. I am surely going to get this.

And lastly from ColourPop, the In-Nude-Endo Highlighter Palette hasn’t left my thoughts yet since they went live on the site. I’ve been holding off from getting it since the new palette that I really want, Give It To Me Straight, is out of stock. And, you know, I’m waiting for the day that these might go on sale.

I’m not sure I can stay true to my low-buy plan with these around. Are any of this on your wishlists too?
