Korean Beauty Haul from Seoul

Korean Beauty Haul

Last month I was in South Korea right? I had this list of beauty products I was going to buy along with the locations of where I can possibly buy them. So to cut the long story short, I totally deviated from that list for the following reasons:

  1. The item wasn’t on sale. I expected a lot of brands would give off discounts on their bestsellers because it was the holidays. Some stores had sales and some didn’t.
  2. There are some sellers in IG who sell the item at a much lower price.

Anyway, I promised you a haul post and here it is.

Korean Beauty Haul Papa Recipe

The only thing from Papa Recipe I planned on buying was their masks which was easy enough to do if you’re constantly walking along the streets of Myeongdong. But we went to Aland and everything from Papa Recipe was on sale there, 30% off! I got the Bombee Honey Moist Propolis Ampoule (I actually wanted the LJH Vita Propolis Ampoule but I couldn’t find it in any Olive Young stores) and the Black Out Charcoal Soap.

Korean Beauty Haul Neogen

Neogen was one of the brands I was excited to shop for but sadly there wasn’t much of their products in Olive Young. I wanted the Bio-Peel Gentle Gauze Peeling Pads in Wine but ended up getting the Lemon variant instead (Wine wasn’t available). I also got the Real Fresh Green Tea Cleansing Stick.

Korean Beauty Haul Manyo Factory Medicube Hada Labo

Ahh, cleansing oils. These two, the Manyo Factory Pure Cleansing Oil and Hada Labo Gokuyjun Cleansing Oil weren’t on the list but the former was too cute to pass up and the latter was supposedly an award-winning item based on the display in Olive Young. Actually, I already had the Hanskin BHA Cleansing Oil — this was on the list — in my hand and I was going to the check-out counter by the time I saw these two. Now the Medicube Zero Pore Serum on the other hand was on my list. Need something to tame my pores.

Korean Beauty Haul Innisfree

The Orchid Eye Cream from Innisfree was difficult to hunt for. I should have bought at least 2 of this because I think Koreans hoard this whenever its available. Funny story, I was only able to turn my back from the displayed stocks for not more than 20 minutes to browse thru the rest of the store and later when I came back to it, they’re all sold out! Also a No-Sebum Blur Pact is a must for me.

Korean Beauty Haul Hanskin

One of the items on my list is the Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence. Hearing all about how wonderful it is from Charlotte Cho is enough to pique my interest. And again, this is one of the items that seems to be sold out everywhere even though I kept seeing testers on display in various LOHB stores. Because I couldn’t get that, I made due with the Real Complexion Cream Set for oily skin which has a mini essence and a single sheet mask.

Korean Beauty Haul Aprilskin

My knowledge of Aprilskin is just limited to their makeup so imagine my surprise when I saw a slew of skincare products in their stall in in Lotte Young. The BTTN Pink Natural Line is for oily skin and the whole set was at 50% off. This wasn’t on my list but what the hell, right?

Korean Beauty Haul Masks

And of course, some sheet masks! My only regret about this whole trip is not getting more. What I bought were packs of the Mediheal Tea Tree Care Solution, A. By Bom Ultra Cool Leaf Mask, and Papa Recipe Bombee Whitening Honey Mask. Then due to some miscommunication, I didn’t realize until it was too late that I was also paying for a pack of L’Affair Honey Mask which comes with a Honey Peel-Off Gel Mask (I thought it was free, LOL). Next time, I know what to do.

See anything you fancy guys?

  1. What a haul! I’d be interested in hearing about those cleansing oils! And I’ve tried a Mediheal sheet mask (pack of 10 of the same kind – called Platinum V-Life) before and I loved it!
