MAC Cosmetics Snowball Face Powder in Happy Go Dazzlingly | Review

MAC Face Powder Happy Go Dazzlingly

Hi guys! So sorry for the absence. I’ve been to South Korea for 9 days starting last December 16, 2017 and I just got back in Manila the other day. I’ve been resting since the 25th so here’s a late holiday greeting for you all…

Anyway, today I’ll be writing about one of the Face Powders from the Snowball Collection that I bought last month. I waited for a week before I used it because the embossed print was too pretty to be ruined. So here goes.

This opalescent face powder transforms cheeks into pearly orbs that light up the night. Adds the perfect high-impact shimmering glow to skin. Features a snowflake-embossed design and cool crushed champagne metallic packaging.

Happy Go Dazzlingly is described as a gold with sparkle. The compact is a beautiful gold designed with what looks like an abstract icy print(?). And on the inside the pan is even more gorgeous with its snowflake pattern. Like I mentioned above, I was hesitant to dip my finger in it because the print is too pretty to be used.

It’s supposed to be a face powder but it’s more of a subtle highlighter. It’s not as intense as the the Extra Dimension Skin Finishes (which I absolutely adore to death!) but it does give some glow to the skin. The powder is quite soft and blendable but the pigmentation is not as opaque as I would have liked. It is buildable though so if you prefer a more shimmery look, it is possible. It wasn’t powdery at all and it lasts at least 7 hours on me before completely fading.

I’m glad I was able to pick this up from MAC because it is a very welcome addition to my highlighter collection. By the way, highlighters and Extra Dimension Finish powders are all I buy from MAC nowadays.

Any purchase from the Snowball Collection guys?
