When it comes to brow makeup, I’m always looking for the next best thing. There are only a handful of products that I personally approved of because I’m quite picky. Now though, I can add another one to that short list with something from Anastasia Beverly Hills.
ANASTASIA IS A BROW WIZ
An award-winning ultra-slim, retractable pencil that creates precise, hair-like strokes. Use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz®‘s fine tip to spot-fill areas where brow hair is sparse, and the custom spooley end to blend for a flawless finish.
Mimics natural hair
Long-wearing, smudge-proof formula
Glides on effortlessly
Available in 10 shades
Out of the 10 shades in the Brow Wiz range, I picked Medium Brow to be my match which is suggested (according to Sephora) for light/medium brown & silver hair. It’s not really the color suggestion that drew me in but rather the swatches available from various bloggers online. I also had help with this…
From totalbeauty.com
… and this description from Ulta’s shade finder.
Being a slim pencil, it only contains 0.003 oz of product. The retractable pencil is on one end and on the other end is the spoolie. The pencil is firm enough not to end up getting caught up in my brow hairs but soft and creamy enough for precise application. The formula lets me apply very natural and hair-like short strokes to fill in any areas on my brows. The color pay-off is very impressive too. Most pencils appear harsh on the brows, getting darker or patchy with each stroke but not this pencil. In fact, I have never seen my brows looking hassled or harsh with the Brow Wiz.
Here you can see my right brow filled up using the Brow Wiz. I really love how easy and fast it is to apply it and how natural it looks on me.
When I bought this, I was very much aware of how short-lived this product is. And this is the very reason why I had only reviewed this now. I needed to discover for myself just how long it will last. Now, I can say that it only lasted me for about 4 months. I started using it mid-April and I had just hit the end of the pencil this week. It’s been a short journey but I know I will repurchase it.
Putting that minor detail aside, I am still in love with the product. And I am giving it my TWO THUMBS UP. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking to try an Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil.
It currently retails for $21 in the US. I hope you find this review helpful if in case you’re wondering about this brow pencil. But for those who have this, what are your thoughts? Love it or hate it? Let me know down below!

I love this product I just wish there was more in it! I had to switch to the NYX Micro Brow because it’s basically an exact dupe and half the cost. xo J

I’m actually impressed that it lasted 4 months! With these tiny pencils I have very low expectations, in terms of longevity. For this reason I bought the Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Pencil instead, which is supposed to be a dupe for the ABH Brow Wiz.
