Hi guys! Today I’ll finally be writing down my thoughts about the Shiseido Pureness Mattifying Moisturizer Oil-Free which I’ve been using for more than two months now. Click on more to read all about it.
THE PURENESS OF MATTE
Give your skin power over shine and imperfections.
Mattify skin while maintaining moisture. This lightweight, oil-free moisturizer with oil-absorbing powder helps reduce surface shine as it provides exceptional hydration to skin. Feels refreshing and ultra-sheer.
- Hydro-Balancing Complex helps keep skin shine-free yet hydrate
- To use: saturate a cotton pad and smooth over face after cleansing.
The Pureness Mattifying Moisturizer Oil-Free comes in a translucent glass pump bottle containing 50ml of product. It doesn’t have any strong scent but instead smells remotely like something floral. I was told by the SA in the store that a bottle would last for an estimate of 3 months. I think it’s going to last beyond that time because I’m not even halfway thru the bottle.
The gel-like moisturizer feels a bit thin in consistency but nowhere near runny. It takes a few seconds to get absorbed by the skin, and once it does, it leaves a semi-matte finish. It also feels lightweight and hydrating enough for someone with an oily skin like me. However, it doesn’t seem to help in keeping my skin as matte and shine-free as possible for long periods because I still get shiny after a few hours. But on the positive side, this is one moisturizer that have not given me any breakouts.
A bottle retails for Php 1,800 in limited quantities in Shiseido stores here in the Philippines and $33.50 in the US. I’ve been looking into other lightweight moisturizers suitable for oily-skin especially with summer coming up. For anyone who deals with the same problem as I am, what can you recommend?
