Swatch Day Sunday Vol.18: MAC Trip The Light Fantastic Powders

MAC Trip The Light Fantastic Powder2

I got some items from the MAC Star Trek collection yesterday from Rustan’s Alabang. I’ve been patiently waiting for its release here in the Philippines since I never found an exact date. All I really wanted were the Fantastic Powders. This should come as no surprise because they look like they can be used as highlighters and/or blushes. Too bad though, Luna Luster was already sold out when I saw the display.

AN ODE TO STAR TREK

Spanning half a century, Star Trek and its loyal fans cross decades, influencing ideas and aesthetics of gender, race and intergalactic potential. As the sci-fi saga continues, delight in the beauty of exploration as M·A·C and Star Trek’s latest cinema generation joins forces in an exclusive makeup collaboration of astral hues.

From L to R: Highly Illogical, Strange New Worlds

Trip The Light Fantastic Powders are described as powders that transform skin upon contact. Eh, not much explanation there. What do you think?

Strange New Worlds is described as a sheer wash of golden coral pearl.

Highly Illogical  is described as a sheer wash of golden plum with fine pearl.

The last one is Luna Luster which is a sheer wash of soft rose shimmer. This was the shade I liked based on the swatches I saw online. I can only hope other MAC stores will still have this on stock.

Anyone got all three shades? Are you loving them?
