DNA Cosmetics have successfully made dupes for the first 6 shades of the infamous Kylie Lip Kits. Without the accompanying exorbitant price of course. Little ol’ me just happen to be curious enough to try them out.

Our long lasting liquid lipstick glides on like velvet and dries matte. It has super stay power on your lips! If you are looking for a look that is not matte, you can always add a clear gloss on top. This lip paint is long lasting, you will not have to freshen your lips all day. We recommend to exfoliate your lips before using, and avoiding greasy foods while eating.
This liquid lipstick is highly pigmented and has a matte finish. This color has a maximum color payoff. It gives you an intense pop of color on your lips. It comes in a sleek clear case with a black top.
Our Liquid Lipsticks are 100% VEGAN.

First, a little intro about the brand, DNA Cosmetics is an indie makeup brand based in the US. They sell their products on Etsy and they currently have 40 shades to their liquid lipstick line. Aside from that, they also have some glosses and moisturizing lipsticks available.
Anyway, onto the review. Adorn is described as a dusty pink but on my lips, it sports a warm tone and looks less dusty than I imagined. Beautiful Disaster, on the other hand, is described as a neutral nude brown. It has beige tones to it which I think will look lovely on anyone with a fair skin.
Both are packaged in simple plastic tubes with a black cap. The label for the shades can be seen on the other end. They have a sweet, vanilla-like scent to them, not exactly like a MAC lipstick though. The doe-foot applicator is well enough that I can use it to even out the edges. The formula dries down to a matte finish with just enough time that I can spread the product on my lips without looking streaky or tacky. It wears comfortably and feels light on the lips for several hours on end until I remove it when I get home.
I’ve also been eyeing other shades from their site, namely Reckless Rose and Rebel Rose. And their lip glosses look promising too! Who has tried those by the way?
