The beauty community is full of enablers. This is the reason why I bought the most recent palette that Violet Voss Cosmetics came out with. Don’t get me wrong, it immediately landed on my wishlist the first time I saw it on instagram because I knew first hand how incredible their eyeshadows are.
LAURA LEE ON THE HOUSE
Hey guys, thank you so much for being a part of this palette with me! I’ve worked so hard creating the perfect go-to palette with a little sass. This palette is a dream come true and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Xo- Laura Lee
And now an introduction from the lovely Laura Lee
The Review:
The Laura Lee Palette has 20 eyeshadows that has some green, red, peaches and mostly neutrals that range from mattes, shimmers and foiled metallics with a total net weight of 36g. Laura Lee’s signature can be seen on both the front and back cover of the cardboard packaging of the palette. In my opinion, it would have been slightly better had the color of the cardboard been white instead of the usual black. The box it comes with is white anyhow.
Onto the eyeshadows now. This palette has similar qualities that made the Holy Grail palette famous. The eyeshadows are so soft and pigmented. I haven’t worn any primer from the first time I used these shades up to the present. In fact, I don’t need to. They practically last the whole day on my lids with no creasing and only a little bit of fading! But some shades are not as easy to blend as compared to the Holy Grail eyeshadows. Although comparing them to other eyeshadow palettes around, these would still have a high ranking.
Okay, time to pick favorites! Among all the eyeshadow shades, these are the ones I use most of the time: Tickled Pink, Bitty, 1988, Yoshi, and Rammer Jammer. Yes, they’re all foiled metallics. Not my fault that they are loads better than the mattes. And the colors I chose are all so phenomenal. Just look at the swatches.
Too beautiful noh? I would give all those foiled metallics a TWO THUMBS UP. They deserve it. If you’re a fan of Laura Lee I recommend you get this as soon as you’re able or as soon as there are stocks online. This is a limited edition product so get going!
This is priced at $45 at Violet Voss but I bought this from @toniiisia for Php 3,300. Oh and yes, she was my enabler. LOL! A big shout out to you, you lovely girl! Thank you!

So wearable, even with those pops of colour. BUT, I bet I have dupes of almost all the shades in the palette – I own too many eye shadows!

Can I ask which ones are your favorites? 😉

It’s soooo difficult to definitively say absolute favourites because every brand has good and bad shades. Generally, I like MAC, Make Up For Ever, Estee Lauder and Lancome – they’re all typically really good in terms of colour pay off, longevity and colour selection! 🙂
