I’ve fallen head over heels with the Becca highlighters so it doesn’t come as a surprise when I bought the limited edition Champagne Glow palette at the start of the year.
POP ALL YOU WANT
A Sephora-exclusive, curated palette of three limited-edition Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed shades—new Pearl, Blushed Copper, and bestselling Champagne Pop x Jaclyn Hill. This palette is inspired by the festive holiday season. The shimmering shades are designed to enhance your natural beauty and allow your features to glow. Simply sweep the luxuriously creamy luminizing powders across the face or apply to targeted areas including cheekbones, browbones, and bridge of the nose to see how beautifully they catch the light.
The Champagne Glow Palette comprises of 3 of Becca’s famous Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed. You have Pearl described as a soft luminescent white, that looks like a frosted, shimmery white. Champagne Pop is described as a soft white gold with pinky peach undertones and looks like a white, champagne gold.Lastly, Blushed Copper, which is a warm copper infused with rose gold tones, seems more like a reddish frosted copper instead.
Each of the pans contain 2.40g/0.0847 oz worth of product as compared to the individual compacts that contain 0.28 oz of Champagne Pop and Blushed Copper each and 0.25 oz of Pearl. So you basically get a palette with nearly as much product as you would get with a lone Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed. Not bad right?
I’ve already reviewed Champagne Pop before when it came out. The formula, texture and finish are pretty much the same although Temptalia says otherwise. (If you have this palette and the 3 individual shades, do you agree with her?) Maybe I’m just biased but I can’t really complain not when I have 3 gorgeous shades in one handy, golden compact with a huge mirror.
All of them have a soft, creamy texture and an amazing, opaque pigmentation with just one swipe across the pan that blends easily. They last quite well too which I estimate to be about 9 hours or so.
From the 3 shades included, Pearl is my absolute and total favorite. The palette has been seeing a lot of action since I bought but Pearl is the one that’s been heavy on rotation. I’m having a thing for white highlighters lately. Blushed Copper, on the other hand acts more like an eyeshadow for me lately because that color on the lids is too good to pass up. If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out.
This palette truly deserves a TWO THUMBS UP from me because everything about it is just so DAMN good.
Have you gotten hold of this limited edition highlighting palette from Becca? What did you think?
