Givenchy Le Rouge in #319 Rouge Intense | Review

Givenchy Le Rouge Rouge Intense

Sorry it took a week before I have this review up. Busy with my other life and all. Here is the other shade of Givenchy Le Rouge I bought from the Fall/Winter 2015 Collection.

 The Review:

Givenchy Le Rouge Rouge Intense2

#319 Rouge Intense is described as a deep classic red. It is a bright red and it leans more warm against my skin tone as you can see from the swatch on my arm but I love it. If I wanted to make a statement then this red would be my first choice to wear. It’s a red that I won’t think twice about wearing. Because, you know, there are reds out there I feel are too warm or too bright on me. Not this one though.

The formula of the Givenchy Le Rouge range has always left me impressed with their consistency. The creamy texture, wear time, high color payoff and smooth application is the same with all shades. And the Rouge Intense is no exception.

Given my penchance for fuchsias, mauves and plums this year, a bright red might just be what I’m going to wear for the upcoming holiday celebrations and dinners I’m going to have with my friends. My relatives would probably think it a bit too much if I wear this in their presence. (I know my younger sister would, hah!)

Now if you know where I can buy Rouge Glace, the Le Rouge from the Les Nuances Glacées Holiday collection — it seems to be sold out in the UK, I’d be most pleased. I swear you’ll have my everlasting gratitude.

This shade is still available in Escentual. Again, I bought this from @designerdepotph.

How about you, what red will you be wearing this holiday season?
