Maybelline has a lot of mascaras to offer the public in all kinds of packaging and benefits. For a cheap price, you’d be hard pressed not to be tempted to get at least one. I’ve been trying one tube at a time to see if I can pick a favorite and if one of them can suit my seemingly un-curlable, too-short lashes.
This time I’m doing a review on the iconic Great Lash Mascara.

Apply from your outer lash to your inner lash, sweeping brush slowly from root to tip. Do not let dry between coats. Removes easily with Expert Eyes® Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover.
I think you can digest from the picture above the packaging of the mascara. Nothing special about it, but it does show how Maybelline wants to stay true to the colors of its original packaging. Still with the pink tube and green cap.
In all honesty, I quite like this mascara compared to the rest of Maybelline’s gang. It gives my all-too short and straight lashes some length and curls them to a noticeable degree. Even without the use of a lash curler beforehand. I take whatever curl and length any mascara can give me and for that, I’m willing to try any tube that promises more curl, more length and more volume. Ha!
I’ve never tried the non-waterproof version. This mascara wasn’t available in the local market until this year (Yes! Thank you Maybelline Philippines!). The waterproof one though, I can attest how it doesn’t move, or smudge in this hot and humid Philippine weather.
Originally sells for Php 350, you can now get it a lower price from now until December 31, 2015 because Maybelline is having a crazy sale on their products nationwide! So go get shopping girls!
