October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. I’m sure you’re all aware of that.
As a doctor, even before I went into Dermatology, I’ve encountered a fair number of patients diagnosed with Breast Cancer — terminally ill, first time diagnosed or survivors.
In support, I’ll be showing you swatches of my pink blushes. Ladies, get ready.
The Swatches:
Dollface from Tarte Cosmetics described as a light pink.
Amused from Tarte Cosmetics described as a bright pink.
Boys Don’t Cry from the NARS x Pierre Hardy collection described as a pink grapefruit.
Naked Rose from Illamasqua described as a soft neutral pink.
Coeur Battant from the NARS x Guy Bourdin collection described as a vibrant magenta.
Starscape from the NARS x Christopher Kane collection is described as a neon pink.
Delizioso Pink from Milani described as a matte bright pink.
Peaches & Cream from the MAC x Sharon Osbourne collaboration described as a mid-tone rose.
Fleet Fast from the MAC Hey, Sailor! collection described as a pinky golden coral.
Intonation from Chanel described as a warm rose.
Think Pink from Catrice Cosmetics which I described before as a warm-toned bright pink.
Berry Pop from Clinique can be described as a cool-toned fuchsia pink.
Sunset Beach from the MAC x Proenza Schouler collection described as a pink ombre into beige.
Whimsy from the Tarte Pin Up Girl Amazonian Clay Blush Palette described as a light pink.
The Guerlain Sun Celebration Terracotta Bronzing Powder and Blush which has a pink-coral blush.
Soulshine Blush Palette from NARS which has a warm-toned, medium pink with golden shimmers.
Luminous Flush from the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette described as a champagne rose.
Radiant Magenta from Hourglass described as a golden fuchsia.
The blush from Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette which can be described as a medium rosy pink.
I never knew I had a lot of blushes until I was gathering them for this post! Whew!

Wow, so many blushes! ❤
I find pinks tricky – sometimes they look too obvious and unnatural on me, that's why I tend to go for more peachy shades.
That Nars Boys Don't Cry shade looks like something I'd like! And Coeur Battant and Starscape – it seems I like all the Nars colours! I'm not even normally that much of a Nars blush fan.
And an aside – you're a dermatologist! How neat. It's a difficult specialty to get into here in Canada.
