Hi, my name is Nikki and I’m a bronzer addict.
Isn’t that how those support groups usually introduce themselves? Admission of an addiction, as they say, is the first step. It has been around 2 years since I first used a bronzer — the MAC Prolongwear Bronzer. And my makeup life has never been the same.
For this episode of Swatch Day Sunday, I bring you some of my bronzers.
Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Naked has a medium tan bronzer, heavy with warm undertones.
MAC Love, Rihanna Bronzing Powder is described as a soft golden brown with gold pearl. It’s one of my first product reviews here in blog. You can read it here.
MAC Hibiscuss Kiss Blush/Bronzer Duo is described as a cool coral blush and matte neutral bronze duo. This one is the most difficult to deal with. Dry, stiff and all that. I’ve scraped the topmost part and it’s still unyielding.
MAC Extra Dimension Bronzer in Aphrodite’s Shell is described as a golden bronze with a touch of fine shimmer. You can read my review here.
MAC Prolongwear Bronzer in Sun Dipped is described as a dirty red tone. The one in the photo above looks less used than when I reviewed it on my Game Changer Series. Of course, more of the pan is showing now.
Topshop Bronzer in Mohawke can be described as a neutral matte brown. Actually, it was how I described it in my review.
NARS Laguna is described as a diffused brown with golden shimmer. The one I have is from the NARS Hearts New York Set.
Guerlan Terracotta Sun Celebration was reviewed here and I described the bronzer as a warm-toned light brown with a satin finish.
There are still more bronzers to explore and acquire. Either a high-end or drugstore brand. I know I’ve got a list somewhere in my table. I can go on and on and on about brands when I’m in a mood and oh boy, am I in a mood for this topic but this post would get longer than necessary.
I have others I have not swatched and that’s because this entry should’ve been up last year but busy schedules and all that, it got pushed down my drafts folder. So maybe a part 2 is needed?
