Do you know there’s a Sephora sale going on right now? The kind where everything is 20% off.
TWENTY PERCENT OFF ON EVERYTHING.
Formerly called a Friends & Family Sale, now it’s the Sephora Employee Appreciation sale. I plan to order through a friend. There’s A LOT of stuff I in my but I’ve whittled it down to a few. I’m disappointed to see some items as either sold out, out of stock or still expensive as hell even if discounted. And this post right here — a collage of a handful of items I want — is a way to get the frustration off my chest.
Laura Mercier Mini Caviar Sticks Eye Colour Quartet. I’ve read tons of good reviews about this eyeshadow stick. I thought my time had come when I saw this set so I forwarded the link to my friend. The next day, she clicked on it and read this instead, “We do not currently carry the product you requested. Try another search or find more ways to shop below.” The anguish was real, people.
Bobbi Brown Warm Basic Palette. Would I make a wishlist without a neutral eyeshadow palette? Highly unlikely. And Bobbi Brown always creates the most beautiful neutral palettes.
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. Who has never heard of the brand SK-II? Their facial essence just happens to be a celebrity secret. And the secret to many youthful looking skin.
NARS Almeria Blush. My mind was actually made up to buy this once it becomes available in the Philippines but a 20% discount was just too hard to resist. That’ll save me Php 500. It’s a win-win situation!
Perricone MD No Makeup Set. The idea behind ‘value sets’ is the chance to try a bit of everything for less. Perricone MD is one of the brands I’ve added to a longer list I’ve yet to try but I’m looking forward to. This particular set seems to have captured the phrase well. In my opinion, it includes the most necessary products for everyday use: moisturizer, foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick. Even with the discount, the price is still steep for my liking. That means, wishlist.
Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask. Every blogger who has reviewed this mask holds nothing but love for it. I wouldn’t shell out $120 for a mask but it was Lily’s review that made me eventually WANT it for myself.
NARS Audacious Lipstick. Vera was the only berry shade I wanted to try from the new range for this season. Unfortunately, it’s out of stock. I keep hoping I’ll receive an email about its availability again. Preferably right now. Sephora gods, can you hear my plea?
Tarte Pin Up Girl Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush Palette. It’s either this blush palette or the one from Hourglass. Five or three blushes? Cloth like clutch or metallic gold packaging? 0.158 or 0.11 oz per blush shade? Taking all those in consideration, Tarte won in my head, 2 out 3.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Set. If ever any of you are curious about the Estee Lauder’s famous skincare line, get this. I want to, I really do. But when it comes to skincare, I have a strict rule that before I buy a new one, I should have emptied out a bottle/jar first or on my way to finishing it off. This contains three products. Those equal to 3 empty bottles. I’m not even halfway done with my current eye cream. So off to the wishlist it goes.
I heard they are going to have another sale in November and it’s going to be for the members. So fret not my friends. You may get your chance yet. What items do you have in your wishlist?
