MAC x Proenza Schouler Haul

GORGEOUS — one word to describe MAC’s collaboration with designers of the fashion line Proenza Schouler, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCoullough. Their bag, the PS1, has been on my wishlist for such a long time.

Precisely one week ago to this day, I posted on my Instagram account my haul from that collection which came in the mail. After ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the lot, I promptly stored them in my upper drawer untouched. I did not have the time to test them out — too busy! — but I promise I will this week.

The Collection:

For the first time, the cool cleverness of the Proenza Schouler woman is captured in a collection of confident colour – slick, sleek and effortless with specially designed, limited-edition packaging. Lipstick cases, compacts and Pro Longwear pencils shine in a unique, luxurious metallic finish in a spectrum of colour from oceanic teal to glossed lemon and royal violet.

The light pink lustre of Woodrose, vivid flamingo satin of Pinkfringe, bright orange-red of Mangrove and sheer berry plum of Primrose in limited-edition M∙A∙C Proenza Schouler packaging.

Mangrove is described as a bright clean orange red with a matte finish.

Introducing new shades of Blush Ombre in Sunset Beach and Ocean City – two face powders in cool pink and warm peach, fused into fuchsia and coral gradients. Limited-edition M∙A∙C Proenza Schouler compact.

Sunset Beach is described as a pink coral ombre into tan.

Ocean City is described as a vivid orange ombre into tan.
