March certainly flew by so fast. I was just rounding up products for the month of February and now I’m doing one for March.
Well, then, here we go.
The Empties:
La Roche-Posay Effaclar H. I’m surprised this lasted me almost a year and well enough through out the colder months of December and January. Gave me the extra hydration I needed during those months.
Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore-Perfecting Toner (travel size). I love this! This has now become a staple in my skincare routine. My review can be found here.
bareMinerals Flawless Definition Volumizing Mascara mini. I’m going to have bid farewell to this little guy here. It has dried up already.
Hourglass Foundation Formula Sample (Light Series). I was so excited to try out Hourglass’ Foundations for free. Instead of buying the full-sized bottles, I get to test the goodness of their products one at a time without paying for the exorbitant price. The only downside is the shade I was given. The lightest shade included is Ivory which is a tad darker for me but no worries, my experience was all good. Each sample packet lasted me for about a week.
The Newbies:
Andalou Naturals Acai + White Tea Oil-Free Moisturizer. I needed to replace my moisturizer fast, one that is locally available, can handle my oily skin and the hot weather in the Philippines.
Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Oil Controlling Astringent. Fresh from my successful journey and after immediately finishing the travel-size bottle of the pore-perfecting toner, I bought the bigger bottle — oil controlling this time around. The smell doesn’t bother me as much as the first few times I’ve used this witch hazel toner.
Aveeno Hydrating Body Wash (Fig + Shea butter). Can’t get enough of Aveeno’s body products. During a recent quick grocery trip, I picked this up because of the scent. It’s a shame though, the Philippines does not have their whole range of products or else, I’d be swimming in it.
Make Up Forever Face and Body Foundation. Tested this out last weekend. Did it held up its promise? Find out soon.
The Disappointments:
NARS Matte Multiple (Altai). Look at the photo above. Placed it beside the TF lipstick. Downsized for the same prize as the regular Multiples. Tsk tsk. Really NARS, really? My review here.
Tom Ford Lip Color Sheer (Paradiso). I want to love this. I really do because it’s my very first Tom Ford lipstick. I’m still trying to find a way to get past the lip-chapping experience. And still debating whether I should do a review of this. Hmm.
Most Loved:
Narsissist Eye Palette. Every time I use this palette, Icona Pop’s song echoes in my head, “I love it, I don’t care. I love it.” Despite getting an average rating from most beauty bloggers, I just lo-ha-ha-ve it. Travel friendly and compact, just the way I like them. Swatches and review.
Chanel Creme Blush de Chanel (Intonation and Chamade). I’ve already reviewed Intonation here and I know I’ve got a dupe of Chamade somewhere but when you love a certain formula, you just have to get it. Know what I mean?
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade (Chocolate). This is fast becoming one of my brow makeup favorites. Will be reviewing this soon.
Holika Holika Wonder Drawing 24Hr Auto Eyebrow. It lasts all day and has a spoolie on one end. Convenient and inexpensive for those on the go! Review here.
Maybelline Lip Polish (Glam 2). Out of all the glosses I have, this particular coral shade is getting the most love this month. Other shades I have can be found here.
Dior Lip Glow. Heaven on dry lips like mine. If only the price is a third of the original.
MAC Viva Glam Rihanna Lipstick. The Rihanna madness lives! Review and swatches with the lipglass can be found here.
That’s all folks! Wait for the promised reviews soon. Pardon me if I can’t review items as fast as possible. Work does get in the way.
How about you, what products did you love last March?
Don’t forget to follow me on:
Chanel blusheeeeeeees… *drool* I want more! My wallet just screamed, I think 😉
I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about that Anastasia Dipbrow stuff…I wish we had the brand here – I’d give it a go!

Chanel blush huhuhu. Why must you and Shari do this to me huhuhu. Lol. It sucks though that the NARS Matte Multiples were a disappointment. Just when I was about to get my hands on one. Tsk! Buti nalang.
